Heart study aims to find safer blood thinner for High-Risk patients

Summary
This study compares two blood thinners, bivalirudin and heparin, given during a heart artery procedure (PCI) in patients with acute coronary syndrome who are at high risk of bleeding. About 5,270 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which drug better reduces serious complications like death, heart attack, stroke, or major bleeding within 30 days.
