First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study planned to use brain imaging (PET scans) to see how cariprazine (Vraylar) affects dopamine D3 receptors in people with bipolar depression. The goal was to learn how the medication eases depression, not to test a new treatment. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
