Searching for better blood tests to track Kids' arthritis

NCT ID NCT07356804

Summary

This study aimed to find better ways to monitor symptom flares in children with inflammatory rheumatic diseases like juvenile arthritis. Researchers followed 20 children to see if new blood markers (Calprotectin and Serum Amyloid Protein) were more useful than standard tests for tracking disease activity. The goal was to help doctors better manage these chronic conditions and prevent long-term complications.
