Search for early warning signs of Chemotherapy's heart risk

NCT ID NCT04036045

Summary

This study aimed to find early warning signs of heart damage in children and young adults receiving a common type of chemotherapy drug called anthracyclines. Researchers planned to use blood tests and heart scans to look for tiny markers that might predict which patients are most at risk. The goal was to gather knowledge to help protect patients' hearts in the future, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
