New skin patch aims to replace fingersticks for glucose monitoring

NCT ID NCT06229743

Summary

This study tested a new wearable glucose monitor that sticks to the skin like a patch. 247 adults with diabetes wore the device for up to a week to see how accurately it measured blood sugar compared to standard fingerstick tests and lab equipment. The goal was to gather data to support making this device available for people with diabetes who don't use insulin.
