High-Tech walking coach aims to prevent diabetic foot problems

NCT ID NCT06591780

Summary

This study is testing whether real-time visual and audio feedback can help people with diabetic nerve damage walk better. Participants will walk on a special treadmill while seeing projections of their foot pressure and push-off force, with the goal of training safer walking patterns. The research aims to develop a non-invasive rehabilitation method that could reduce the risk of foot ulcers and amputations.
