Electric bandages take on surgical infections

Summary
This study tests whether a bioelectric wound dressing can reduce infections after colon surgery better than the usual chlorhexidine skin prep. About 20 adults having elective colon surgery will be enrolled. Researchers will measure bacteria levels in skin samples to see if the new dressing works better.
