Electric bandage zaps wound infections in new trial

NCT ID NCT07329114

Summary

This study is testing whether a special bandage called PowerHeal™, which creates a tiny electric field, can help infected wounds heal better. Researchers will compare it to standard wound dressings in 150 patients in Ukraine with infected traumatic injuries. The main goals are to see if the bandage helps close wounds faster and reduces harmful bacteria.
