New combo aims to shield scarred lungs during cancer radiation

Summary
This study tests whether adding BIO 300 to standard chest radiation can prevent severe lung inflammation (pneumonitis) in people with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer who also have interstitial lung disease (scarred lungs). About 25 participants will receive the drug alongside radiation. The goal is to improve how long patients stay free from serious lung side effects.
