New hope to stop binge eating after weight loss surgery

NCT ID NCT04605081

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called naltrexone/bupropion can help people maintain control over binge eating and keep weight off after bariatric surgery. It involves 100 adults who had surgery about 10 months ago and initially responded well to treatment for binge eating. The goal is to see if this medication works better than a placebo pill at preventing binge eating from returning and helping with long-term weight management.
