Summary
This study tested whether a new, once-daily pill called centanafadine could help reduce binge eating days in adults with moderate to severe binge eating disorder. Researchers compared two different doses of the medication against a placebo (a pill with no medicine) in 147 participants over several weeks. The main goal was to see if the drug was effective and safe for controlling the symptoms of this disorder.
