Brain-Tuned music may help musicians beat stage fright

NCT ID NCT07407426

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether listening to a 30-minute audio track with special binaural beats (adjusted by brain activity) can reduce stress and improve thinking in 32 college music students preparing for a concert. Participants will have brain scans before and after listening to either the real audio or a sham version. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive method can help musicians perform better under pressure.
