Summary

This study tests whether a probiotic called Bifidobacterium PB-18 can help adults with mild to moderate depression who are not taking antidepressants. About 88 people will take either the probiotic or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. Researchers will check if symptoms improve and explore how the gut and brain might interact.
