Summary

This study tests an experimental oral drug called BI 3000202 in 405 adults with moderate to severe systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Participants are randomly assigned to one of four doses of the drug or a placebo, taken daily for a year alongside their usual lupus treatments. The goal is to see if the drug can reduce lupus activity and help lower steroid use. Results will help determine the best dose for future studies.
