Summary

This early study tests a new type of radiation called biology-guided radiation therapy (BgRT) for people with cancer that has spread to the bones and causes pain. BgRT uses live PET scan signals to precisely aim radiation at active tumors during treatment. The goal is to see if a single dose can safely relieve pain and improve quality of life in 24 adults with solid cancers.
