Ancient remedy tested for modern stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT07080632
Summary
This study aims to see if an oral medicine made from bezoar, a traditional ingredient, can help people recover from a brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage), a severe type of stroke. Researchers will give the medicine to 300 adults who recently had a small to moderate brain bleed to see if it improves their physical function, mental abilities, and quality of life over 12 weeks. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and if it helps patients become more independent after their stroke.
