NCT ID NCT07577388

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether bed rest actually helps prevent early birth in pregnant women with a short cervix. About 6,000 women in Denmark will either be prescribed bed rest or not, and researchers will compare how far along they are when they give birth. The goal is to find out if avoiding bed rest is just as safe and may even reduce risks like depression and bone loss.
