First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether the drug bevacizumab works better than standard steroid treatment for people with brain swelling caused by radiation therapy. About 408 adults with brain tumors or high-grade glioma who develop this complication will receive either bevacizumab or dexamethasone. The goal is to see which treatment better improves daily function and reduces symptoms, while also being cost-effective.
