New strategy aims to spare men unnecessary prostate biopsies
NCT ID NCT07398690
Summary
This study is testing a new approach to diagnose serious prostate cancer while trying to avoid unnecessary biopsies. Researchers want to see if using an MRI scan along with a specific blood test can help doctors decide which men truly need a biopsy. The goal is to detect dangerous cancers just as well as current methods, but with fewer invasive procedures and side effects for patients.
