New scan aims to catch prostate Cancer's return sooner

NCT ID NCT07184970

Summary

This study is testing if a new type of scan (PSMA PET/MRI) is better than the standard MRI at finding prostate cancer that comes back after a focused ultrasound treatment. Researchers will compare the two scans in 60 men who had the ultrasound treatment. The goal is to see if the new scan can detect returning cancer more accurately one year after treatment.
