New scan could spot hidden prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT07386496
Summary
This study aims to find a better way to detect serious prostate cancer in men whose initial MRI scans are unclear. Researchers will compare two approaches: one using only MRI to guide a biopsy, and another that adds a special PET scan called 18F-PSMA. The goal is to see if the combined scan method finds more serious cancers and helps doctors make better treatment decisions.
