New shot tested to make uterine exams less painful

NCT ID NCT06653400

Summary

This study is testing if adding an anti-inflammatory drug (ketorolac) to the standard numbing shot (lidocaine) can better reduce pain for women undergoing a common uterine exam called hysteroscopy. It will compare the new combination shot to the standard shot alone in 60 women. The main goal is to see if patients feel less pain during the procedure.
