Breathing technique aims to sharpen lung cancer scans
NCT ID NCT01812031
Summary
This study tested a new scanning method to see if it could make PET scans better at finding small lung tumors. It involved 103 adults who had small lung nodules. Researchers compared images from a standard PET scan to images from a new scan that was timed with the patient's breathing, to see if the new method was more accurate.
