Personalized math could speed up blood clot treatment
NCT ID NCT07250763
Summary
This study is testing if a personalized calculation for the starting dose of the blood thinner heparin works better than the standard one-size-fits-all approach. Researchers will compare how quickly patients with blood clots or certain heart conditions reach their target blood-thinning level. The goal is to find a safer, more precise way to start this common but tricky medication.
