Video link to 911 could save more cardiac arrest victims

NCT ID NCT06530433

Summary

This study is testing if giving community rescuers better real-time support improves CPR quality and survival for cardiac arrests outside the hospital. It will compare the current system against a new one that lets 911 dispatchers see and talk to rescuers through a phone app. The goal is to reduce rescuer stress and help them perform more effective chest compressions, which could lead to more people surviving.
