Tweaking a surgical dye could sharpen cancer detection, cut costs

NCT ID NCT07380698

Summary

This study aims to find the best dose and storage method for a special green dye (Indocyanine Green) used during surgery for uterine, cervical, or vulvar cancer. The dye helps surgeons see and test the first lymph nodes where cancer might spread. Researchers will test different approaches on 30 patients to see which method finds cancer cells most effectively and is most cost-efficient for the healthcare system.
