Personalized breathing support aims to protect lungs in High-Risk surgery
NCT ID NCT07388719
Summary
This study tested if customizing ventilator pressure during surgery is better than using a standard setting for obese patients having spinal surgery. It involved 80 patients to see if the personalized approach improved oxygen levels during the operation and reduced breathing problems afterward. The goal was to find a safer way to support breathing for patients at higher risk for lung complications.
