New scan aims to spot hidden breast cancers
NCT ID NCT03607552
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to help find breast cancer in women with dense breast tissue. Dense breasts can make cancers harder to see on a standard mammogram. The new scan is quick, doesn't use a contrast dye, and aims to be more accurate than ultrasound and safer than a full MRI.
