New scans aim to sharpen breast cancer detection
NCT ID NCT07418411
Summary
This study tested whether using extra imaging methods could better detect if breast cancer had spread to the lymph nodes under the arm. It involved 180 women with breast cancer who received these additional scans alongside their standard tests. The goal was to improve the accuracy of pre-treatment staging to help doctors plan the most appropriate care.
