New exercise strategy aims to stop the leak
NCT ID NCT07387640
Summary
This study is testing whether adding core muscle exercises to standard pelvic floor training works better for controlling urinary incontinence. Women with stress or mixed incontinence will do a 12-week exercise program, with one group focusing only on pelvic floor muscles and another group doing both pelvic floor and core exercises together. Researchers will measure changes in leakage frequency, muscle strength, and quality of life to see which approach is more effective.
