First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a dietary fiber called beta-glucan, along with exercise, can improve how your immune system recognizes and kills cancer cells. Healthy adults will take beta-glucan or a placebo daily for 4 weeks and do three exercise tests. Researchers will measure immune cell activity in blood samples to see if this simple approach could help fight cancer.
