Pregnancy scan timing could better predict early birth risk

NCT ID NCT06822647

Summary

This study aims to find the best time during a routine pregnancy ultrasound to measure cervical length, which helps predict the risk of early birth. Researchers will compare measurements taken at the beginning versus the end of the ultrasound exam in 550 pregnant participants. The study also tests whether a special sepia-colored ultrasound image helps get clearer measurements than standard gray images.
