Study aims to perfect the knee X-Ray for better surgery decisions
NCT ID NCT03685019
Summary
This study aimed to find the most accurate X-ray technique to help doctors decide between a partial or total knee replacement for patients with arthritis. Researchers compared several different standing and bent-knee X-ray views, along with MRI scans, to see which best showed cartilage loss. The goal was to create a clearer guide for surgeons to choose the right surgery based on pre-operative images.
