Heart failure breakthrough? major trial tests if catheter procedures beat pills for AFib

NCT ID NCT07238452

Summary

This trial aims to find the best way to manage atrial fibrillation (AFib) in people who also have heart failure. It will compare two main approaches: using catheter-based procedures to restore normal heart rhythm versus using medications and devices to control the heart rate. The goal is to see which strategy better prevents death, stroke, and hospital visits for over 1,000 participants.
