NCT ID NCT07637526

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This observational study will review medical records of about 100 adults with multiple myeloma that has returned after initial treatment. Researchers want to see how well belantamab mafodotin given with other drugs (bortezomib and dexamethasone, or pomalidomide and dexamethasone) works in real-world, compassionate-use settings. The goal is to gather information on patient characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

belantamab mafodotin combined with bortezomib and dexamethasone, or with pomalidomide and dexamethasone

What this could lead to

If successful, this study could provide real-world evidence on how well these drug combinations work for multiple myeloma that has returned after initial treatment.

What could go wrong

This is a small, retrospective observational study, not a controlled trial. It cannot prove cause and effect, and results may not apply to all patients. There is also a risk of side effects from the drugs, such as eye problems or low blood counts.
