New therapy aims to curb violence in young adults with psychosis

NCT ID NCT05756855

Summary

This small pilot study is testing a new behavioral therapy program designed to help reduce violent behavior in young adults (ages 16-30) who are in the early stages of a psychotic disorder. The main goal is to see if the therapy is practical and acceptable for both patients and their clinicians in a real-world treatment setting. The study will not test if the therapy cures the underlying condition, but focuses on managing this specific, serious symptom.
