Summary
This study compares two counseling approaches combined with nicotine patches to help people quit smoking. Researchers are testing whether a therapy focused on increasing positive activities works better than standard counseling for certain smokers. The trial involves 85 participants who receive 8 weeks of treatment and are followed for 3 months to see if they successfully quit.
