Behavioral boost: new study tests if counseling extends life in liver cancer

NCT ID NCT07337031

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a special behavioral support program to standard medical care can help people with liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 193 adults will be split into two groups: one gets the support program (including in-person sessions and a WeChat platform), the other gets usual care. The main goal is to see if the program improves one-year survival, quality of life, and treatment side effects.
