Summary

This study compares a healthy diet centered on beef to a typical healthy US diet in 56 adults with metabolic syndrome or pre-diabetes. The goal is to see if the beef-centric diet reduces inflammation and improves other health markers like blood pressure over 5 weeks. Participants must be 18-74, have a BMI between 23 and 39.9, and show signs of inflammation or pre-diabetes.
