Can a bean diet tame your appetite and reshape your gut?

NCT ID NCT07043712

Summary

This study aims to understand how eating beans (like lentils and chickpeas) affects the bacteria in your gut and how full you feel after meals. Researchers are comparing a diet with beans to one without beans in 44 overweight adults. They will measure changes in gut bacteria, appetite hormones, and metabolism to see if beans can help control appetite and improve health markers.
