Summary

This study tested whether the BCG vaccine, normally used for tuberculosis, could reduce the amount of hidden HIV in the body. 60 people with HIV on stable antiretroviral therapy received either the BCG vaccine or a placebo. The main goal was to measure changes in the HIV reservoir after 6 months.
