New shot may stop hives from cold and scratching

Summary
This study tests an investigational drug called barzolvolimab in 240 adults who get hives from cold temperatures or from scratching their skin, and whose symptoms are not controlled by standard allergy pills. Participants receive either the drug or a placebo injection, and doctors check if hives disappear after a cold or friction test at 12 and 24 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug can better control these chronic skin reactions.
