Pill-Sized camera could replace scopes for tracking esophagus condition
NCT ID NCT02994693
Summary
This study aims to understand how Barrett's esophagus changes over time by using a small, swallowable camera capsule instead of repeated traditional scopes. It will follow 100 adults with Barrett's esophagus for three years, imaging their esophagus with the capsule several times. The goal is to see if this simpler method can effectively monitor the condition's progression.
