First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether baricitinib, a JAK inhibitor, can help people with dermatomyositis achieve significant improvement without needing steroids. About 62 adults with active disease will receive either baricitinib or a placebo alongside standard care. The goal is to see if baricitinib allows patients to taper off steroids while still controlling their condition.
