Researchers map hidden cancer risk in families

Summary
This study aims to better understand the BAP1 hereditary cancer syndrome, which increases risk for several cancers including eye melanoma, skin melanoma, and mesothelioma. Researchers will study 500 participants with personal or family history of these cancers to identify patterns and risk factors. The goal is to improve screening recommendations and future prevention strategies for affected families.
