NCT ID NCT05576207
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving pregnant women in Bangladesh a special balanced energy and protein supplement (BEP) could help babies be born healthier. Over 3,000 women were split into groups: some got the BEP supplement, some got it only if they were underweight, and some got a standard vitamin supplement. Researchers compared birth weights and other outcomes to see if the BEP supplement made a difference.
