Virtual reality goggles aim to stop falls in stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT03994770
Summary
This study tested a new virtual reality system designed to help people with balance problems, especially after a stroke. Participants used special goggles to follow a moving target with their finger while standing, which challenged their balance in a safe, controlled way. The goal was to see if this system could reliably measure balance and help train people to improve it, potentially reducing the risk of falls.
