First seen May 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether balance exercises done with eyes closed or with distorted vision can improve walking stability in people with chronic nerve damage. 40 adults with walking problems due to nerve disease will do 20 rehab sessions, either with normal vision or with vision blocked or altered. The goal is to see if removing or changing visual input helps retrain the body's balance system.
