New exercise study aims to help stroke survivors walk and move better

NCT ID NCT07386119

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether three types of exercises—vestibular rehab, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, and standard rehab—can improve balance and mobility in people with hemiplegia (paralysis on one side) after a stroke. About 45 adults who had a stroke at least a year ago and can walk a short distance will take part. Researchers will measure changes in arm function, spasticity, balance, and quality of life using standard tests.
