First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a small, TENS-like device that gives mild electrical stimulation to see if it can improve balance and walking in older adults. About 120 people aged 60 and older will do tasks like walking for 6 minutes and standing on foam while wearing the device. The goal is to find a simple way to help reduce falls and make moving around easier.
